Youth First
Web site for non-profit, Youth First in Gridley, California. Youth First’s mission was to create greater equality of opportunity for youth in their community across the racial and socio-economic spectrum in response to increasing gang violence.

Web Site Goals:
- Increase awareness of the non-profit and its goals, in order to increase support and participation from the community
- Provide a consolidated place to find available community resources and activities for youth and their families
- Give ideas for concrete action community members could take to support the youth in their area.
- Make all of this information available in English and Spanish
To meet this diverse set of goals I designed three visually distinct sections within the web site. The entire site was also in the process of being translated into Spanish when I left the project. It had been developed to be able to clearly and easily switch between languages.
In order to keep the information consistently relevant I implemented a content management system for current news and an events calendar.
